Baby to Toddler Socks

This pattern is very versatile as the changes in size are a result of the change in gauge. You can also add stripes, make them taller, etc.


Yarn: Fingering or sock weight yarn (this pattern is great for using up scraps left over from full sized socks.)
Needles: Set of 5 dpns: US Size 0 (2mm) for Newborn sizes, US Size 1 (2.25mm) for Infants, and US Size 2 (2.75mm) for small toddlers.
Notions: hanging stitch marker or safety pin to mark beginning of round, tapestry needle for weaving in ends. Gauge: Gauge on US Size 0's is 10 sts/inch in Stockinette Stitch.
Finished Size: varies with needle size, but it’s always better to make them too big since babies grow FAST!
