Pattern Release: Flutter Scarf

May I present, the Flutter Scarf. Pattern available through my online shop.

The yarn is an artisan laceweight from Skylark Yarns called Les Oiseaux. The colorways are beautiful and subtle, and the whole scarf took one skein of the yarn.

Yarn Requirements: Skylark Yarns Les Oiseaux laceweight yarn (70 % alpaca/30% soy fiber, 440 yards) in the color Artemesia

Needles: US 3 (3.25mm) straight or circular needles.

Gauge: 6 sts and 9 rows per inch in stockinette stitch after blocking.

Finished Size: 8″ wide and 60″ long.

Enjoy!
M

SO gorgeous!!!

Gorgeous! How big was the scarf itself?

Added by Mim: Ah! Forgot to say. I’ll add it in to the post. It’s 8″ wide and 60″ long.

Oooohhhhhhh. Clicking over to the shop!

Oooh, that’s cute!

ooooOOOOOoooohhh, it’s preeeetty Mim! Nice work! I’ve been looking for a scarf project like this one…

Beautiful, Miriam! I’m off to buy one *right* *now*!!

Oooh pretty :) Scarf has been bought :) Now I’m going to ponder what yarn I’ll use… maybe spin something up :)

Just wanted to say that I really love your patterns ! I made Juno Regina too and now I’m off to buy the new pattern !

That is lovely! Well done, you.

Quick question – wondered whether you have a weight for the skein, or the finished scarf? I’m just trying to work out whether a couple of yarns I have will work with the pattern – they both have the yardage, but one is veering towards fingering while the other is nearer cobweb…

Added by Mim: I weighed the skein, and it came in at 80 grams.

Very very pretty. So light and delicate – perfect for spring! (Which damn well better get here quick.)

Beautiful scarf – very subtle and pretty.

You make our yarns look mahvelous! Simple and clean-lined with a flip of a flutter. Perfect!
