FREE Pattern Release: Anthemion Wrap

Welcome Knitty.com Patrons! And for those who haven’t seen it, I’ve got a new pattern up for free from knitty.com – The Anthemion Wrap

My goal with Anthemion was to make a wrap that could be worked from one end to the other, in one single piece, with as close-to-matching edgings as possible with very wide borders. And I’m so proud of the effort and that I can offer it for free to you.

My first book is nearing completion (you can see some photos of the projects here) and I was hoping to have book pre-orders up before knitty went live, but for those of you new here, please take a moment to check out my other designs available either through my shop or through ravelry. I’ll be posting to this blog and to twitter (and probably flickr as well) when the book pre-orders are up.

Thanks! Pull up a chair and stay awhile :)

Best,
M

GORGEOUS!!

I’m really looking forward to your new collection!! The minishots available on flickr have me drooling, beautiful!!

Yay! I’ve been anxiously awaiting it.

Really lovely! Thanks!

Another lovely pattern! I just love “end to end” knitting as I have a great dislike of provisional cast ons and/or grafting. I knit your Cloisters wrap a little while ago and it turned out beautifully. I’m looking forward to knitting this new wrap. Thank you for such great patterns.

congrats on another beautiful pattern! i really love that last shot of you leaping through the grass :)

i’ve printed out your lovely new pattern from knitty, and will add it to my queue later today. i’m looking forward to your book too. your hidcote garden shawl was one of the first complicated lace pieces i made, but your excellent directions made it a joy to knit.

you look so happy in the pictures!

Another gorgeous pattern that’s gone straight into my Ravelry queue! Looking forward immensely to the book!

Hi,

Just wanted to say the pattern is BEAUTIFUL. I love the way the design evolves, and it is very well named.
Congratulations!

Absolutely lovely! Thank you so very much!

The shawl is lovely and your dress is beautiful! You look so cute!

once again- another gorgeous design. well done! can’t wait to find some good yarn for it.
and the dress? i love the dress! where oh where did you find it?

I’ve had lots of people ask about the dress. I got it at a second hand store here in Salt Lake City and then adjusted it, removing some rather hideous buttons and reversing the tabs the buttons were sewn on to, then I narrowed the bodice and moved the buttons in the back. If it helps at all, the tag says “DownEast Basics”

Good luck dress lovers!
M

This wrap is wonderful! I love so much all your patterns. I think your Juno regina stole is going to be on my needles very soon, but also Anthemion is on my Ravelry queue.
Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful patterns!
Greetings from Italy,
Rosa
